PTSD Help

Trauma is unexpected, intense and overwhelming. It can change the course of a person’s life. At its worse trauma can lead to symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress which does not come from difficulties in childhood growth and development, biology or genetics. PTS comes from a traumatic incident. Common symptoms include feeling on guard, intrusive recollections of the incident or anything that reminds the person of it, depression, anxiety and avoidance. These seemingly unshakable problems can impact work, relationships and alter a person’s life choices.
